Position Overview

We are seeking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of
environmental law and policy, combined with a proven track record in business development within the legal or environmental sectors. This role demands a strategic thinker with
exceptional communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Represent Green Brief in client engagements, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Market Research & Strategy Development:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging industry trends,opportunities in environmental law and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development strategies aligned with the firm’s objectives.

Proposal Development & Negotiation:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, highlighting the firm’s value proposition.
  • Lead negotiations to structure business deals, contracts, and partnerships to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, policy, and training departments, to align efforts and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business development professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in business development, preferably in the legal or environmental sectors.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental law and sustainability practices.

Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed business targets.
